世界是一个汇集各人种、语言、文化交融的大舞台，学会一种语言或多种语言有助于我们到不同的地域求学或者工作，不但能打开视野，有机会接触世界优秀文明，并能与世界先进文明交流。外语教育具备传播先进文化，接受新知与认识别国文化的功能，学会一种或多种语言，不仅具备实用性，对未来职场发展亦有助益。

本次会议邀请中国、日本、韩国与中国台湾地区共九位有着丰富外语教学经验的教授，分别从不同视角探讨多语言与多文化交流的重要性，希望藉由聆听各专题，能增强学生对多语言、多文化的认识，从而能提升学习热忱。

The world is a big stage for the integration of different races, languages and cultures. Learning one or more languages can help us to study or work in different regions, broaden our horizons, provide us with opportunities to contact the outstanding civilizations, and enable us to communicate with the advanced civilizations in the world. Foreign language education can realize the spread of advanced cultures and enable learners to accept new knowledge and know other cultures. Learning one or more languages is not only practical, but also benefits future career development.    

In this meeting, nine professors with rich foreign language teaching experience from China, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan will be invited to discuss the importance of multilingual and multicultural communication from different perspectives. It is hoped that by listening to various topics, students' awareness of multilingualism and multiculturalism can be enhanced, so as to enhance their enthusiasm for learning.
